Veronica Hicks, MPH
Statistical Data Analyst
As part of the Drake Lab, Veronica is in charge of data cleaning, management, and analysis for numerous studies including the Prostate Cancer Prospective Cohort study to assess disparities in prostate cancer outcomes and the Association of Metabolic Syndrome and Prostate Cancer study to explore the association between obesity and/or type II diabetes and prostate cancer using data from the Veterans Affairs (VA) prostate cancer cohort.
Saira Khan, PhD
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Dr. Khan is a postdoctoral research associate in the Division of Public Health Sciences. Her primary mentor is Dr. Drake. Dr. Khan's research focuses on elucidating risk factors for adverse prostate cancer outcomes including recurrence and mortality, and reducing the burden of disparities in prostate cancer. She collaborates with Dr. Drake on both the prostate cancer prospective cohort study at the Washington University School of Medicine and a large Veterans Affairs cohort study that consists of all men diagnosed with prostate cancer at a VA hospital between 1997-2009.
Aleksandra Klim, RN, MHS, CCRC
Manager of Clinical Trials, Division of Urology
Alex has 15 years of research experience and manages clinical research in the Division of Urologic Surgery. She serves as resource for implementation of clinical projects as well as regulatory compliance for Drake lab projects.
Danielle Rancillo, MS, MPH
Public Health Research Coordinator II
Danielle is the Research Coordinator for the Drake lab. Her duties include the management and regulation for all of the Drake lab studies. This includes assisting with development of study materials and tools, data management, intern supervising, IRB/HRPO submissions, and various other duties. She also provides support to the Prostate Cancer Community Partnership (PCCP) with the Program for Elimination of Cancer Disparities (PECaD) and works closely with community partners to provide education and cancer screenings to underserved communities throughout the greater metropolitan St. Louis area.
Katina Richardson, MD
Public Health Research Coordinator I
Dr. Richardson is the recruiter for the Prostate Cancer Biorepository Network (PCBN) Project. She coordinates and conducts subject recruitment, biospecimen collection for processing and analysis, as well as collects and maintains all clinical data.
